"How long does it take to get my custom window coverings installed once I place my order?"

• Two or three weeks for blinds, woven woods and sunscreens.
• Six to eight weeks for draperies and roman shades.
• Eight to ten weeks for shutters
• Rush orders are available on some products for an additional charge.

"I am getting double paned windows. Should I order my shutters before the new windows are installed?"

• Order the windows first, then order the shutters. There is a possibility that the dimensions of the window could change and the shutter size could be affected.
• Hint: When ordering new windows and shutters, the simpler the window the better. Once shutters are installed on the window, the window is less visible. Sliding windows without cranks and latches are better for shutter installation.

"Should I get grids on my windows if I am going to have shutters installed over them? "

• Shutters look better on windows that do not have grids on them. There aren't so many lines to obscure your view.

"I have standard windows, can't you just give me a price on window coverings? "

In the pricing of draperies it is very difficult to provide a price without a fabric or a style selection. There are a couple of questions that need to be answered before you have your furniture re-upholstered. If you answer yes to any of these questions, then it is more than likely worth the cost of re-upholstery:

1. Is it an antique?
2. Does the piece have sentimental value?
3. Was the furniture custom made for your home or have an unusual style that you cannot find in a furniture store?
4. Is the furniture well-made, good-quality furniture that would cost a small fortune to replace?
